In 2001, we moved to Neenah with a young family, not knowing anyone. We raised four kids while both working full-time. In the frantic, beautiful, and completely exhausting hustle of that lifestyle, we were always on the go—but rarely truly together. Exhausted from the relentless pace of daily demands, we would all retreat to our own separate corners of the house to decompress. We were physically under the same roof, but emotionally miles apart.

In 2019, we served as summer camp counselors. Listening to the deep struggles, worries, and loneliness of the kids in our cabins changed everything for us. We walked away with one undeniable truth that rewrote our lives: “It’s about the families they go home to.” It wasn’t just our family that was caught up in the whirlwind of the daily grind.

Now that our own kids are grown, we want to give back to Neenah. We founded Kindred Crew, Inc. to be the warm, supportive, and judgment-free crew we had when our kids were small. By hosting totally FREE fun family pop-up events, we make it easy for you to take a breath, have fun, and build lasting family memories.
